Weekly Scripture Reading 8/29/10: Psalm 20: 7,8

Kids Quest and classes for all ages: Classes from 9:30 - 11:30 AM every Sunday 4 years old through 3rd grade. Classes use the "Faith Weaver" series on the greatest Bible lessons. Our adult classes meet in the auditorium. Classes begin at 9:30 AM and worship and praise at 10:30 AM.

WASSUP on Wednesday: Rob's class is called "Learning From Jesus". It is from a series by Richard Foster and it will focus on the humna life of Jesus and what it means to follow him.

Fall Kickoff Hot Dog Roast: Everyone is invited to the Fall Kickoff Hot Dog Roast. Sunday 9/12 at 5PM. A night of fellowship at our new firepit. Come on out and join in the cookin, eatin and some great get to know you conversation.

Metropolitan Detroit Youth Chorus: All students 9th through 12th grade are welcome to audition for the 2011/12 MDYC on Saturday, September 11th, 2010. Auditions will be held at the Northeast Church of Christ.

Honduras Mission Trip: See Rob Callicott if you are interested in supporting this mission trip effort in the Fall.

	CONNIE		I would like to update you on my status of work. I am still currently looking for full time work. I would like to still have some prayers for me to be available to find full time work. I am currently waiting on a call back from U of M on a position I recently interviewed for. I am praying that I get this position. Connie [08/23/2010]

	PAULA ROBINSON		Cody was admited to Det. Childrens Hospital monday. He has an infection and some trach complications. He is on I.V. antiobotics for the infection. Tomorrow he will go to O.R. to have his trach scoped and replaced. Dr.s will then let me know if he has any damage or absess in his trachia. Please keep us in your prayers. thanks Paula [05/13/2010]

	CONNIE NEWELL		I would like to have prayers for a full-time job. I am unemployed and my unemploment is running out soon! [04/21/2010]

	PAULA ROBINSON		For Cody. Had strep throat 2 week ago caused him to bleed a bit from trach and G-Tube. He has 3 appointments at Det. Childrens this week Upper G.I. swallow study a scope for reflux Please help us pray for normal results and fast recovery. [03/28/2010]

	LANE HASTY		That we can't afford the $1200 for ch#7 bankruptcy. That the Lord will make a way regarding this matter. [12/25/2009]

	MARCIE DUNCAN		Samantha Bahl is a 19 year old girl attending Abilene Christian University whom doctors have recently discovered several tumors attached to her lungs and kidneys. Please pray for her and her family as she goes through tests and surgery to remove the tumors. Her doctors suspect they're cancerous. [10/10/2009]
